Zutphen Glass Expo 2024

International Glass Art Exhibition in the Netherlands

On Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3, 2024, the third edition of Zutphen Glass Expo will take place,

which will be open on both days from 10:00-17:00. Once again the museal Sint-Walburgiskerk, located in the beautiful and historic

Hanseatic city of Zutphen, will be the setting for the glass art fair and exhibition. During the first edition of Zutphen Glass Expo

(November 12 and 13, 2022) we were able to welcome over 1900 visitors, and with 2100 visitors

the second edition (November 4 and 5, 2023) was also a great success!

Why a glass art fair and exhibition?

Glass, like art in general, knows how to connect people. It brings together enthusiasts, collectors, artists, galleries & museums....

No other material plays so much with light and color and seems to have such a natural connection with its surroundings.

During Zutphen Glass Expo 2024, more than 50 glass artists and gallery owners from home and abroad will present their finest works not

only for admiration, but also for sale. You will therefore find all manifestations of glass under one roof.

Demonstrations: Warm welcome by several live glass blowers

One of the unique aspects of this glass exhibition/fair is that you have direct and personal contact with many artists.

You can see this right at the entrance to the church; as this is where several glass blowers will be giving "live" demonstrations.

This way you can not only view and purchase work, but also see how glass is manufactured.

Unfortunately, of course, it is not possible to directly purchase and take home that manufactured work. During the manufacture of glass

There is a lot of tension in the glass, which has to be removed by (long) cooling. But not to worry, inside there is plenty of choice!

You are most welcome!

Tickets are available at the church entrance both days, and cost only €8.50 per person.

About 75% of the entrance fee is donated to the church by Zutphen Glass Expo, for the benefit of the maintenance

of this monumental church. Children under 12 may enter completely free of charge. At the entrance you will also receive a map

with a list of participants. This way you can easily take notes and/or get in touch with participants later.

The church is easily accessible by car or public transport, and is close to the train station and several parking lots.

In addition, at times of the glass art exhibition there will be catering facilities available in the church, so you can enjoy

good food and drink, amidst the most beautiful glass art works.
