In the museum-like Walburgischurch, in the historical, beautiful
and very cozy Hanseatic city of Zutphen (Netherlands)
Ofcourse you could've missed the first edition of this beautiful event. That's why we'd like to take you back to November 12 and 13 2022. At this date the first edition of Zutphen Glass Expo took place, under the name of International Glas Art Fair Zutphen.
During this glass art exhibition, the museum-like Walburgischurch in the Dutch city of Zutphen was entirely devoted to glass for two days!
There were 50 glass artists and glass galleries, exhibiting and selling their beautiful, mouthblown and/or handsculptured art glass.
In total, almost 1900 visitors were there to look at the beautiful pieces of glass art, and to by one if they wanted to.
In short, the International Glass Art Fair Zutphen was a huge and stunning succes!
This would never have been possible without all exhibitors, the municipality of Zutphen, the employees and volunteers of the Walburgischurch and, last but not least, all the tourists, glass art lovers and locals that visited the Glass Art Exhibition!
The organization of Zutphen Glass Expo would like to thank them all!
The Walburgischurch in
Zutphen (NL) is a collegiate church from the 13th century. It's a very museum-like building, which is also part of the national initiative 'The Largest Museum of The Netherlands', so i'ts the perfect location for an event like this!
Entrance tickets to the glass expo is only €8 per person.
There will be over 50 glass artists and galleries from The Netherlands and abroad who will exhibit and sell their stunning glass art, which you can admire with your own eyes.
When you arrive at the Walburgischurch, you will be welcomed very warmly...Or even better, it's a very 'hot' welcome.
Because there are multiple glassblowers in front of the church, showing their skills in live-demonstrations. Enjoy!!
